The head of the EPA said WHAT?

You’re not going to believe this: Lee Zeldin, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, just gave the keynote address at a climate skeptic conference.

During his speech, he dismissed our climate movement as a “cabal” and launched a direct, personal attack on SEEC Member Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The claims being peddled at this conference are dangerous and completely void of scientific fact:

• They claimed climate change is a “hoax” perpetrated by “leftist politicians.”
• They argued that fossil fuels are actually the “greenest” source of energy.
• They suggested that more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is actually a good thing.

It is incredibly telling — and terrifying — that the head of the EPA chose to lend his platform to these lies and misinformation.

But we have news for them: SEEC Member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez didn’t “make up” the climate crisis — she’s listening to the overwhelming consensus of scientists. Attacking her won’t stop the planet from warming, and it won’t stop us from fighting for our future.
