SEEC Vice Chair Rep. Chellie Pingree — the top Democrat on the Appropriations Subcommittee overseeing the National Park Service budget — just slammed Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, demanding answers and calling out this corruption!
Friend, they’re trying to carve up and sell off a part of Yosemite National Park so that they can build access for private vacation rentals.
To make it worse, they want this scheme funded by the Land and Water Conservation Fund!
Rep. Chellie Pingree made it clear to Donald Trump and Secretary Burgum that this project must not move forward: “The Land and Water Conservation Fund exists to safeguard land for the American people — not to serve as a federal concierge for a private landowner’s real estate ambitions.”
