Why tonight’s deadline is so important

Hi, it’s SEEC PAC Chair Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski.

I’m reaching out personally because tonight is our major end-of-month deadline — this is our most critical fundraising deadline of the election cycle (and I’m serious about that!)

After Labor Day, we will write checks directly to our SEEC candidates running in the most competitive races in the country — like Rep. Kathy Castor (FL-14) and Rep. Marcy Kaptur (OH-9) — which have been rated “toss-ups” by the Cook Political Report.

But first, we have to hit our goal before midnight. The latest update from ActBlue shows we are still $3,107 short, so I’m asking everyone to chip in now. $25 will make a real difference!

I can’t stress enough how important this deadline is to our ability to take back the House, stop Trump’s attacks on our environment, protect our public lands, and pass legislation to expand clean energy while lowering costs for American families.

We’ve been working all year toward this moment, and now we’re within striking distance. We just need one final push to cross the finish line, so I need everyone who cares about the future of our kids and our planet to step up today.
